Balancing Your Life

You can have a balanced life and live to your full potential.

We currently live very busy and complicated lives, trying to comply with the demands our different roles have on us; however, are we living meaningful and fulfilling lives?

It feels more like we are just running a day after other, without even realizing that we are stressed, demotivated, tired, more surviving than thriving and longing for balance, for being in control of our lives, but we don’t know what we can change to improve our lives or how to make these changes.

In order to have a fulfilling life, we need a balance of the components of our lives that are relevant to us.

Using tools such as introspection and visualization, participants will explore what a Balanced Life means for each of them, why they may be feeling stressed, depressed or restless, and how they can move towards a more balanced and joyful life.

In this workshop, participants will be guided to:

  • Assess their current level of satisfaction with the different components of their lives.
  • Identify what a balanced life is for them and visualize themselves living it.
  • Identify areas of their lives they would like to improve.
  • Set goals and actions towards a more balanced life.
  • Identify some internal and external obstacles that may be holding them back from expressing their full potential.
  • Transform some limiting beliefs (internal obstacles) into empowering affirmations.
  • Define actions to be taken within the next day, week, month, year that will move them closer to their goal of a balanced and joyful life.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be inspired to initiate the journey towards the life they want to have, will have an action plan they can use to begin to make the decisions and changes that will move them closer to their balanced life and will have some tools to overcome the obstacles that most frequently will get in their way.

Engineering Your Success

Define, design and build your personal success.

The word success has two meanings: “a favourable or desired outcome” or “the gaining of wealth and fame”. We are more familiarized with the second meaning and sometimes we may want to achieve wealth and fame, just to find out that it doesn’t give us the happiness we expected or that the cost we are paying to achieve such success is much higher than we thought. But what does real success mean to you? What is that desired outcome that will bring joy and fulfilment to your life?

The meaning of success has a more personal character than what we have learnt, as also has it the route we take to achieve our success.

Have you defined what does success mean to you? Are you one of those persons who have found that money, power, long tittles in your career didn’t bring the satisfaction, motivation and joy you were expecting?

In order to be successful, you need first to have clarity on what success mean to you, so you can take the decisions and actions required to achieve that desired outcome that will fill your life with a sense of accomplishment, of contribution, of being who you want to become.

Using the different stages of an engineering project as a metaphor and through comparison, introspection and visualization, participants will be guided to:

  • Identify and define what success is for them (personal success) and how achieving it will make them feel.
  • Visualize themselves living that success.
  • Define the steps and resources needed to get there.
  • Define a preliminary action plan to move towards the successful life they want.
  • Identify some beliefs that may have been holding them back from what they want.
  • Transform limiting beliefs (internal obstacles) into inspiring affirmations.

At the end of the workshop, participants will feel inspired and motivated to initiate the journey towards being successful according to their terms, have a plan so they can begin taking actions daily to get closer to their desired outcome and will have some tools to be used to overcome some obstacles that can get in their way.

Reconnecting With Your Inner Child

Your inner child brings creativity and vitality into your life and helps you have a better response to your daily challenges.

Our inner child is an important part of ourselves. She is the source of our vitality and creativity, represents our child-like capacity for innocence, wonder, awe, joy, sensitivity and playfulness and is often unconsciously guiding our decisions, reactions and emotions.

Your inner child may have been hurt during your childhood and may still be feeling embarrassed, afraid, inadequate, rejected, not loved. Keeping her in isolation doesn’t allow you to heal emotionally, which may be affecting your life today and preventing you from fully expressing your potential.

For your inner child to grow up you must love and accept yourself. Reconnecting with your inner child helps you heal emotional wounds you are carrying from your childhood and have a more integral response to life’s challenges.

Using some tools like introspection and guided visualization, you will have the opportunity to get in touch with your inner child, create a relationship with her and explore how your life would be revitalized by letting her be a part of your daily life, by mindfully including child-like activities.

In this workshop, participants will be guided to:

  • Find their inner child within them and get to know the emotions she is still feeling.
  • Reconnect with their inner child, as an adult, to give her the love, care and support she needs to feel loved and reassured.
  • Visualize how their lives can change and get revitalized and more balanced by incorporating some child-like activities in their daily routines.
  • Set goals and actions towards living a more creative, joyful life.

Through comparison, introspection and visualization in this workshop you will be guided to:

  • Identify what would make 2017 your best year ever.
  • Envision yourself living what, for you, is your best year ever.
  • Identify the gap between where you’re now and where you’ll be at the end of 2017.
  • Define the steps that will allow you to get there.
  • Define an action plan you’ll begin to implement immediately to create the 2017 you want to live.
  • Identify the resources you already have and those you may need to get to support you achieving your goal.
  • Identify internal and external obstacles that can get in your way and define a strategy to overcome them.

At the end of the workshop, participants will have reconnected with a vital part of their being, which will help them be more creative, have a more integral response to life requirements and fully express their potential.
